Evolvia Institute of Neurobehavioral Health
A licensed therapy practice can offer L.A.C. interns a unique opportunity to fulfill their internship requirements while gaining direct, supervised experience alongside practicing clinicians. In addition to traditional clinical experience, interns would have the opportunity to learn alongside therapists utilizing emerging AI-supported VR headset technology. The goal is to provide upcoming therapists hands-on training while helping prepare the next generation of clinicians for a rapidly evolving mental health field.
Our Purpose
Mission
Evolvia Neurobehavioral Internship Program prepares future counselors through immersive neuroscience-informed clinical training that bridges classroom education with real-world practice. Clinicians graduate with increased confidence, stronger clinical reasoning, trauma-informed skills and a deeper understanding of whole-person neurobehavioral care.
Vision
To become Arizona's premier neurobehavioral internship program where students develop into exceptional clinicians equipped to transform lives through evidence-based, brain-centered care; advancing the future of behavioral health through innovation, leadership, and lifelong learning.
Philosophy
Evolvia's educational philosophy integrates neuroscience, trauma-informed care, evidence-based interventions and reflective clinical practice to help students become thoughtful, ethical and competent professionals. We emphasize curiosity over judgment, collaboration over isolation, and lifelong learning over routine practice.
Commitment
Evolvia Neurobehavioral Health is committed to developing meaningful partnerships with colleges and universities to support the next generation of behavioral health professionals.
At Evolvia, we offer more than supervision, students deserve mentorship.
Evolvia's Clinical Development Program
Was created to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world clinical excellence. We believe that exceptional clinicians are developed through a deep understanding of the relationship between the brain, behavior, and healing. At Evolvia, students gain more than internship hours, they develop clinical confidence, professional identity and the competencies needed to serve individuals, families and communities with excellence.
