What to Expect: Chronic Pain Therapy in Arizona | Evolvia

Wondering what therapy for chronic pain in Arizona looks like?

This page is for Arizona women 27 and older with body or chronic pain who are ready to try mental health care but aren't sure what it actually looks like. If you've been burned by vague processes and unclear next steps, here's exactly how Evolvia works, start to finish.

What happens when I call to apply?

You call (602) 858-5020. That's the first step, and it's the only one you need to take right now.

When you call, you're not committing to anything except finding out if this could help. You call (602) 858-5020 to apply. We talk through whether this program may be a fit. You do not need a diagnosis ready, and the call is not a commitment to start.

What does "we review" mean?

After your call, the team reviews your application. This isn't a formality, and it isn't a waiting game. It's a careful look at whether Evolvia is a good fit for your situation and, if it is, what kind of care would help you most.

What happens if I qualify?

When you qualify, you are paired with a therapist. Your therapist leads care from there. Every client receives certified nutrition services. When pain is part of the picture, our holistic doctor and nurse practitioner are on staff.

The process, in one line: call (602) 858-5020 to apply → we review → When you qualify you are paired with a therapist.

What does a session look like?

Your therapist leads the session. VR may be used as a tool in the room. It is not therapy by itself.

A grant covers the VR headset used during the therapy session.

How do I pay for therapy?

If you have insurance, we bill for the therapy session then it gets covered.

If you do not have insurance, or there is a balance insurance will not cover, you can apply for CareCredit low monthly financing.

If you do not qualify for CareCredit, cash pay is last.

A grant covers the VR headset used during the therapy session. It does not mean the visit is free.

Coverage is case by case.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the review take? The team will let you know on your call what to expect. The process is designed to move efficiently so you're not left waiting in limbo.

Do I need a referral from my doctor? No. You can call to apply directly. If you're already working with a pain clinic or provider, Evolvia can also work alongside your existing care.

Is the VR headset free? A grant covers the VR headset used during the therapy session. It does not mean the visit is free.

Can I do this if I live outside Phoenix? We start with Phoenix metro: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale: and can discuss other Arizona locations when you call.
